Aerial Hunting Permits

The Montana Department of Livestock issues aerial hunting permits for the sole purpose of aiding and assisting in the protection of livestock from depredation. To obtain an aerial hunting permit, the pilot and his/her aircraft(s) must be registered with the Montana Department of Transportation's Aeronautics Division. Once registered, pilots may apply for an aerial hunting permit.
