Lost-Strayed-Stolen Bulletin
Montana Department of Livestock maintains a list of livestock reported as Lost – Strayed – Stolen. Below are those bulletins.
If you believe you have livestock which has been lost, has strayed, or potentially stolen:
Contact your local law enforcement agency, police, or sheriff's office. Then contact your local Dept of Livestock District Investigator.
Be prepared to answer questions regarding the lost, strayed, stolen livestock:
- Name / Owner of Livestock
- Address, phone number
- Livestock breed, age, color, identifying marks, brands, and brand locations
- Number of livestock missing, and vicinity where loss occurred
- Cattle counts and previous locations
- Additional questions related to the lost, strayed, stolen livestock.
