The Montana Department of Livestock has taken up the following estrayed animals. For more information or to claim the estray, please contact your district investigator.

On the 28th day of September 2026, the Montana Department of Livestock took possession of the estrayed animal described as follows:
- One (1) Highland Cross Steer – No Brand, No ear tag(s), Black-Reddish in color.
The animal came off the BLM High Ore lease near Boulder, Jefferson County, MT.
The animal will sell at Montana Livestock Auction, Ramsay, MT., on Tuesday, October 20, 2026.
