- Payments may be made via check or money order. PLEASE DO NOT SEND CASH!
- The fees for these permits, licenses, and certifications are in accordance with Administrative Rule of Montana (ARM) 32.2.401
- An application is required for each permit, license, or certification. Application and fee must both be received before your permit or license will be issued.
- PLEASE NOTE, the Montana Department of Livestock no longer accepts paper 6 month horse passports from Washington, Idaho, and Oregon.
- The department has transitioned to an electronic Extended Equine of Veterinary Inspections (EECVI), offered by Global Vet Link. Learn more about EECVI's and Global Vet Link.
- An application and fee through MDOL is no longer required for Global Vet Link EECVI permits.
