Milk Control Program
Price Announcements
The Montana Milk Control Program provides all interested persons with a price announcement on or before the 26th of each month. This announcement reflects the producer prices for Class I, II and III milk, as well as the butterfat and skim prices for all three classes for the following month.
Montana producer Class I price is set by the Federal Order Base Class I Price plus a differential of $2.55/cwt. Montana producer Class II and Class III prices are also calculated using factors published in the United States Department of Agriculture Announcement of Advanced Prices and Pricing Factors published on or before the 23rd of the month.
