Prospective board members must be knowledgeable or experienced in at least one of the following subjects: Raising livestock; livestock marketing, sales or breeding associations; and fundraising.
Individuals interested in serving on the board are encouraged to submit a letter of interest and reference/support letters to the Montana Department of Livestock. The Board of Livestock will review the list of interested individuals, and make recommendations to Governor Brian Schweitzer.
Letters of interest must be submitted by March 20, and should be sent to Livestock Loss Reduction and Mitigation Board, PO Box 202005, Helena MT 59620-0701 or emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
