Mandatory General Requirements
Mandatory Specific Tests
  • Brucellosis - Ewes:
    • No tests required.
  • Brucellosis - Rams:
    • Testing begins at 6 months. Must have a negative Elisa Test for Brucella Ovis within 30 days of entry or originate from an official Brucella Ovis free flock and be individually examined and free of REO (Epididymitis).
  • Scrapie statements must be included on the CVI:
    • The following statement by the veterinarian must be included on the CVI: “The animal(s) in this shipment were not exhibiting clinical signs associated with scrapie at the time of the examination.”
    • The following statement by the owner (shipper) must be included on the CVI: “The animal(s) in this shipment is (are) not a scrapie-positive, suspect, high risk, or exposed animal(s) and did not originate from a scrapie-infected, source, exposed, or noncompliant flock.”
