Chronic Wasting Disease Treatment
Methods of treating the disease.
In 2000, the Montana State Veterinarian (Dr. Arnold Gertonson) increased the Chronic Wasting Disease surveillance period for cervid being imported into Montana from 24-months to 60-months. This five-year surveillance period is one of the strongest in the nation. The order was posted on February 17, 2000 (PDF format).
